Monday Meet Up: Meet Shannon, the ASL professional!

Monday Meet Up! Let's meet Shannon. We welcomed Shannon to our team last year and we're so happy to introduce her to you!

Shannon's journey began four years ago when she entered the OCC Interpreter training program. She completely fell in love with the culture and enjoyed learning about the beautiful history of the language. Shannon have since graduated with a degree in ASL and will soon complete her bachelor’s degree from William Woods University. Her dream career is educational interpreting, where she can provide the professional resources to the Deaf community in a school setting. Shannon have also always loved working with children!

And lastly, interesting fact about Shannon is that she was a former cheerleader since the age of 3! She ended my Cheerleading career in 2017 when her team finished as National Champions! Go Shannon
